Where can i fint the immobilizer module in a 1997 bmw 327i?

Ima locksmith and this guy called me to. See if i could make a key for his bmw but i need to get this module anybody knows??Where can i fint the immobilizer module in a 1997 bmw 327i?The EWS module is underneath the left dashboard. Remove the left lower dash cover (above the pedal) and you will see it there.

Now whether you can make a programmable key to work with this EWS module is something that I have to see yet done. Perhaps you need to brush up first on BMW anti-theft data. The key/coil ring/ews/dme system is a fairly complex one (with both hardware and software issues).

And I suppose you mean 328i since there is no 327i.Where can i fint the immobilizer module in a 1997 bmw 327i?I find it very odd that you are a "locksmith" but doesn't contact the dealer about this. Something tells me that you want to jack this BMW.
