How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?

I have a little side cash and wanted to see if I could take the 215 hp engine and add something around 350-400 hp. How much would it cost approximately, including labor? How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?Wow replacing an engine in a 3 series is dumb. They can easily cost you more then $7,000-$10,000. Honestly sell your car and get something faster. The Average 2006 BMW 325i sedan sells for $15,500-$18,000 depending on the mileage and condition. Extra BMW packages in your car may be subject to an increase or change in price. The fastest sedan in this segement is the 2007-2010 Infiniti G35-G37 Sedan which bost 328 HP standard. Other then that if you wanted something faster in the Luxury compact sedan segement there is always the "High Performance" devision like the Mercedes C-class AMG, BMW M3 or the Audi S4, they are over priced so optiong for those cars would most likley mean getting a new engine would be cheaper. How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?
about $8,000.00 and that includes the price of a good used engine. How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?$10,000How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?
You could always replace it with the 333hp E46 M3 S54 engine, they cost around $6000 used for a low-mileage engine, and would end up costing upwards of $10,000 for engine+labor.

We replaced the Engine on our 2005 Audi A4 with an RS4 engine, and it ended up costing over $11,000.How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?I'd look for a wrecked (hit in the rear or side) turbo 335i which would give you 300HP to start with and then do some mods that could easily increase the power to 350 or more. Dinan and other have relatively inexpensive mods such as cold air intake and chips that can bring the horsepower to the 350 mark with relative ease and cost effectiveness. I'd agree that the cost with labor will still be in the area of $7-10K. YOu could also look for an M3 engine that would put you at the 400 HP mark fasterbutt the transition would be more difficult as it's not going to be a drop in deal either.

If it were my money, which it's not, I'd think of trading the 2006 for a newer model and investing the money into the higher horsepower model already put together with some sort of warranty perhaps.

Good luck. How much would it cost to change the engine in my 2006 bmw 325I?
sell your car and buy something faster. You'll have to stick $20,000 into parts and labor to upgrade your engine, drivetrain and suspension to handle the extra power.
