Can New BMW with Start/Stop button car start with conventional Key?

The new remote have a small key. The small key can open door but can it start the engine? Can New BMW with Start/Stop button car start with conventional Key?No. The only way to start the engine is with the button.

The fob must be in the slot, or in your pocket if you have comfort access option, but the little key will not start the engine. Can New BMW with Start/Stop button car start with conventional Key?There is very often a "key slot" that accepts that key (sometimes by the driver's left knee). The key enters the slot and completes the identification (much like it would from the RFID tag). Once the key completes the identification (in the slot) you can push the START/STOP button on your car to start the engine. DO NOT TURN THE KEY (it will break the slot).

This comes in handy if your batter on your RFID fob dies or if it malfunctions. But it can start your car. Check your manual for the specific location of the key slot for your BMW.
