What is the real-world difference between a pre-2007 BMW M3 and the 335i in terms of vehicle dynamics?

Several dyno tests have revealed that the 335i twin-turbo motor puts down more HP %26amp; Torque than the M3 (inline-6) engine. I wonder what the difference will be like in real-life. From a price perspective, the 335i seems more economically rational.

I don't have time to do test drives, but would appreciate if others could chime in based on experience behind the wheel. What is the real-world difference between a pre-2007 BMW M3 and the 335i in terms of vehicle dynamics?90% of BMW owners today are posers, and perhaps 10% are interested in the real drive and performance.

If you do not have time for a test drive, I would suggest it really doesn't matter, you just want to pose with it on the street in any event.

regards, hard driving-owner past %26amp; present of supercharged cars, fan of forced induction (former owner of 2 BMW's).What is the real-world difference between a pre-2007 BMW M3 and the 335i in terms of vehicle dynamics? So, you want to know the difference between an E46 ///M3 and a E90/92 335i correct?

Well, the the new 335i's twin turbos are a nice addition for an already solid inline-six, but the fact the the E46 ///M3's engine is N/A is what draws more enthusiasts compared to the E9X 335i's.

Either car you choose, you ill be happy. What is the real-world difference between a pre-2007 BMW M3 and the 335i in terms of vehicle dynamics?Good Question they are just about equal in power out put, I would like to know more too.
