You can do about anything you want to modify a car, they are made of metal for the most part.

You can weld on, bolt on, cut off however much you really feel neccesary.



With that being said, it would be far easier just to sell your coupe and buy a convertible, or if you have the cash just buy a convertible.

Quality in the job done here is elemental, if it's not done right your car won't drive the same. The roof kinda holds your car together and your going to lose a handful of trunk space.

Convertibles are already engineered to be with out a roof.
