What reasons would you buy a Mercedes instead of a BMW as your luxury car of choice?Why should you buy a MBZ instead of BMW as your luxury car of choice?MBNZ and BMW are two totally different vehicles... i am an owner of both a 2002 S500 and a 2003 745i.... bmw will not last worth a **** compared to my mercedes... my S500 right now has 261,000 miles on it... Yes two hundred sixty one thousand miles!!! my bmw has only 40k... my bmw gives me more headaches and problems than anything else... but once again you cant compare the two... bmw has a nice aggressive drive and has a different feel to it, mercedes has that nice feel when you drive you know you're driving luxury.... basically between the S and the 7.. illl choose the S... between the E and the 5.. ill choose the E... between the C and the 3... any day ill choose the C... bmw connot even compete with the CLS... also Mercedes offers so many varieties of engines VS bmw only has 1 or 2 per class......Why should you buy a MBZ instead of BMW as your luxury car of choice?
BMW will last longer than Mercedes. Its much better looking and better quality.

It depends on how the car fits me. I buy a car for comfort not status. I have driven several models of each Benz %26amp; BMW and like a few of each. Buy the one YOU want not what someone else "Thinks" you should have...Why should you buy a MBZ instead of BMW as your luxury car of choice?The main reason someone buys a Merc over an Audi, BM, or other luxury models is prestige. Although for your particular choice, the CLS, it is definatley a looker, if you got the AMG version then it's quite the rocket as well.

There are several advantage an MB has over BMW in the area of luxury.

MBs are true luxury cars. They have been for many years.



BMWs have always been sporty cars that only recently have gravitated heavily into the luxury arena, while MB is a luxury car that has been more heavily into sport in recent years.



MB just does luxury better. Dealer service is better. Paint is much higher quality. Cabin noise is less. Ride is nicer and more serene.

Aesthetically the cars (particularly the CLS) are more elegant and classy.



There is also the image piece. The cache' of the three pointed star cannot be matched by any BMW.



Overall, the car companies in recent years really have moved toward each other. The differences between the two are slowly disappearing as the companies try to be more things to more people.



Still, MB still sets the luxury standard, while BMW still is the sportier choice.



As for me personally, I drive an E55 AMG because the performance is sublime while offering the luxury in daily driving that BMW cannot.Why should you buy a MBZ instead of BMW as your luxury car of choice?
I choose a MBZ over a BMW, because MBZ designs seems to last the test of time better, and are better innovators than BMW
well if for luxury a mercedes for sport bmw. a mercedes is much more of a luxury car but a bmw is more of a sporting car
