Go to BMWUSA.com where they alert you it's a scam.I have received a mail from The BMW International Awareness Promo 2008?Yes. After all did you enter such a contest? Then how could you win? This is a typical scam. You should delete without opening any attachments. Do not answer. They will be after your bank details in some way either hacking into your computer through your responding or asking for you to send money or bank details for them to deposit funds. They may ask for you to cash a check (cheque where I come from) they send you to cover taxes which you pass through your account and send that cash amount to them or simply ask you to transfer from your account cash for this purpose. They may even give you phone nos. to call.
It is all a con. A woman last week was asking on YA what to do as someone had scammed her out of a few thousand dollars with a scam like this.I have received a mail from The BMW International Awareness Promo 2008?none of those emails are real. enough said.
