Does bmw make a 325ci manual convertible top. meaning you open the convertible top with your hands?

my 2001 bmw 325ci only has one button and all it does is release the back of trunk lid then i have to pull down convertible top with my hands and close the back lid with my hands? is that normal or did some one rig it like that?Does bmw make a 325ci manual convertible top. meaning you open the convertible top with your hands?I am positive that at least from 2000 to 2003, there were some that had manual tops.
