My car barely runs now after putting a mid grade fuel in the car, which my dad suggested to do. Now the car barely idles and the engine service soon light came on.How much would it cost to get an engine service on a 1999 BMW 328i?What I would do is change the fuel filter and next time you fill up grab some octane booster and fill up with premium. cheapest way out before you fck up everthing

go get high octane in a fluid bottle pour it into your tank... put it in asap drive around for 15min till it mixes all up with the crap fuel you put in and it should even out if not change fuel filter now and airflow meter if needed and spark plugs cause they might all fail cause of the **** fuel.How much would it cost to get an engine service on a 1999 BMW 328i?Possible fuel filter stopped up. Suggest you take and get an OBD2 scan to check for any trouble codes and go from there, Could have a sensor bad in engine management systems, cost bout $100.00 for diagnostics then go from there.
