What is the best method for removing brake dust and grime from my BMW tires?

I'm open to any tool/solution concoction that you have found to work well. Thanks.What is the best method for removing brake dust and grime from my BMW tires?id stay away from brake cleen, it will damage the finish!! goto auto parts store and buy an approved wheel cleaner for your wheels, turtle wax 2001 or armour all wheel cleaner for all surfaces, work great. while at the parts store get a soft bristle "parts washer" brush. with cool dry wheel spray the stuff on one wheel at a time and use the parts washer brush to get in all the nooks and crannies, a tooth brush works great too, its soft, the simply wash off with hose, if need more then spray it on with the wheels wet and repeat. ive been doing it this way since a kid. whatever you do dont use harsh chemicals, it will ruin the finish of the alluminum! its just brake dustWhat is the best method for removing brake dust and grime from my BMW tires?A scrub brush and alot of hard work! Castrol Super Clean. Mix it 50 / 50 with water. Scrub with a soft to mild bristle brush.
