It is probably gonna be a bit expensive for you to insure as I have five yrs no claims and am 35 and its certainly more for me than my previous Honda but shop around Liverpool Victoria are generally quite competetive.
The mileage should not really concern you as BMW s go forever if they have been properly looked after but maybe you should consider something more practical for now after all it is your first car......
From experience they are worth the wait xWould it be feasable to buy a BMW 3 series at my age?
What, are you kidding me? Do it! It would be a total chick magnet.Would it be feasable to buy a BMW 3 series at my age?Try e car on line.
What do you think. GET SOME INSURANCE QUOTES Before you buy this car.Would it be feasable to buy a BMW 3 series at my age?Get some quotes before you buy the carWould it be feasable to buy a BMW 3 series at my age?
you can buy it - but it would be stupid and the police would always pull u over as a suspect.
if you have just passed your test, i would suggest getting yourself a cheap run around car until you get used to all the other idiots on the road. plus the insurers will bend you over if you dont have any no claims.Would it be feasable to buy a BMW 3 series at my age?
I'm sure its going to be twice as the cars price, i mean for you as a new driver is around £1600, if I was you, i would go for a smaller car for couple of years and then change it to a better one as you like.
good luck
very high risk, not just because of your lack of experience in driving but the places you are likley to go at your age, BMWs are broken into more often than a low profile vehicle and buy going to places that a lot of people your own age are you will be drawing attention to your car.
Yes you will be looking at a lot of money.
the insurance may not insure you , you are a high risk for them , if they do expect to pay a minimum of £2500 a year
had the problem with my son few years back
don't become a boy racer , and remember if you don't respect your car , she will kill you . keep on the save side

yes the insurance will probably be huge but if you want one go for it.. bear in mind the cost of fuel - prob over £50 to fill the tank and won't last long %26amp; tax which will prob be over £120 for 6 months and maintenance costs also. But you will have that with every car. best idea go for something cheaper for now and save some cash so you can afford one better in a couple of years. Just about everyone has an accident after passing thier test too which can cost a fortune to fix, get some more driving experience 1st then go for it and get a really nice one with all the bits %26amp; bobs on it!
no way, get a crapy car bring down ur insurance , my sons 17 his insurance is 800 on a 1000 engine, he was quoted 4000 to be a named driver on my 17 year old mazda mx5, its crapy i know but do a few years on crap cars to bring your no claims bonus up, thats why old farts drive nice cars sorry
YOU WILL NOT GET INSURED!!!!
For a start, an £800 3-series will be a banger which will bring you nothing but hassle and repair bills, regardless of what the mileage is, if it's genuine, which I doubt. But as you say, insurance will be the killer on a car which is a minimum of group 10 if it's a 316i. Phone round for a few quotes, if you live out in the sticks somewhere you might get lucky and get it insured for under a grand, but if you're in a city they could want thousands, if they'll insure you at all.
Best bet is to go down the sensible route %26amp; get a Clio or similar for a couple of years till you've got a bit of no-claims behind you.
Good car, possible expensive replacement costs and certainly extortionate insurance premiums. Buy a car which attracts a much cheaper insurance premium and think of something more exotic when you are 25.
GO for it, im only 16yrs old and i live in miami, my parents just bought me about 2 months ago a BMW e46 325i (2002) and its very safe, pretty fast, and girls love it!
It'd be the best buy you ever made and you'd be in the "top class" of smartest people in your class.
