Planning to buy a BMW any problem I should be aware of?

Well I bought a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T about two year ago and it gave me tons of problems with the transmission which was a CVT, I finally sold the car now am back in the market planning to buy a BMW and I was wondering what are some problem that comes with this car especially the 3 series any major defects.Planning to buy a BMW any problem I should be aware of?actually I read some reviews on an 03 and the 3 series in general for a number of years running has a good reputation overall from what I read. If you have a specific year you like, type " 05 bmw 323 recalls and reviews?" and see what pops up on the results page. Looks like you found Audi weak link too, I try to tell people that audi is an expensive vw, which has lots of problems too, but you get one guy who never had a problem get upset because he thinks someone is trashing audi, (not realizing he got lucky) audi has been a piece of crap since the 80s and nothings changed, expensive, expensive to repair, spends lots of time in the shop. that's audi.

Look on a website called Edmund's, they have new and used cars that you can research do some price checking, and there is information available too from consumers who own bmw so check out customer comments, and go look in the forum section for bmw there should be plenty if Information there too. Good luck, take your time, and have patience, and keep the mileage low, that makes a big difference too.Planning to buy a BMW any problem I should be aware of?I bought an older 3 series a couple of years ago, and it has been the best car I have ever owned. I am looking to upgrade to a newer model myself, but can't tear myself away from the one I have. Parts can be expensive if you have to go to the dealer for them. The get great gas mileage. I would say you can't go wrong.Planning to buy a BMW any problem I should be aware of?In general, if you buy used, you have to find the best kept BMW you can find. There are many a poser who bought the brand and never kept up with repairs and hide the lack of maintenance, tranny issues, suspensions problems, check engine and seat lights, etc.Planning to buy a BMW any problem I should be aware of?
the 335i has the N54 engine which you will get lots of "lack of power" issues and you will have to go to the dealer and they will replace the fuel injector (covered under the engine warranty). apart from that its a great car
