My BMW had a round yellow light with an exclamation mark, come up on the dash board?

the pulling power was low, so I had it towed to the mechanics. They tell me they need to get a computer, and are looking for 2nd hand computers, because the new ones are too expensive.

Can someone please advise me if this is what was wrong with the car?

I don't want to sound ignorant when I speak with the mechanic.

is released. You should check it with the dealer if you just had anything done at the service center

they might have put in the wrong software as not all cars have drive off assistance its a

common mistake happened to me once go over there and it wouldn't take a min to fix.?"
