I am selling my Ford Focus within the next couple of weeks and I will be purchasing a BMW 325i coupe

AccelerationHow much difference is there in driving %26amp; comfort between BMW 325i coupe and the Ford Focus?Even if you were going to buy a BMW 325i from the early 90's.... There is virtually no way you could compare a bmw with a focus, no way, at all.



BMW cars are high end cars, it doesn't matter if we are talking about the cheapest ones, the suspension, the engines, gearboxes, interiors, materials, every single component in a bmw is great quality, not an american car hater but I worked on cars, been to factories, went to school for this and well I can tell you that a 325i would drive way better than a focus, if it comes to performance driving or comfort the BMW is outstanding.



325is are very comfortable, I own one, very very soft, quiet and they make you feel safe when driving.

they drive pretty well, you will notice how better they handle around corners, breaking, and so on, now, which year are you looking at to buy? old 325's had 192 hp, they are heavy cars though but they are quiet fast, definitely faster than the focus, very reliable cars, they literally last forever, my 92 its been driving for 350XXX miles so far without rebuild.



overall you will feel amazing in your BMW after you been driving a focus, yeah service at the dealer shop is a little more expensive for BMW but it is worth every penny.How much difference is there in driving %26amp; comfort between BMW 325i coupe and the Ford Focus?Handling will be much better. The BMW is more of a performance car and will give better handling on corners and probably a smoother ride on the highway.



Power will be about 150HP and the inline 6 cylinder gives great torque numbers too.



Not that you should go 100+ mph but this car will definitely feel more stable at high speeds.



With the 2.5L Inline 6 engine I'm pretty sure you will be able to accelerate better than your current focus.

The first guy is right, except for the part about not going above 100 mps in this car. BMWs are built for the Autobahn where everyone around you is going over 100 mph (usually). A 325i may not have the biggest engine, but it's designed to cruise at 130 no problem. Drive you focus that fast you may see parts of it flying past you :p
