How many miles can a bmw roadster take before it drops dead?

How many miles would a 1998 bmw z3 roadster take before it croaks? considering the owner was a very good one and gave it the proper care. Im considering purchasing a used one that has 110,000 miles. I dont drive very far so i know i wont kill the motor with the miles. But is it already going to croak? How many miles can a bmw roadster take before it drops dead?Cars "drop dead" because at a certain point an expensive repair comes along that exceeds the value of the car. At that point, the owner often decides to junk the car. However, if you're prepared to spend the money on repairs, there's not a defined life to a vehicle. It's effectively close to indefinite, as shown by the 1,000,000 mile Volvo, and other high-mileage cars.

In reality, the best thing you can do is maintain the car properly. not taking shortcuts with preventative maintenance and smaller repairs, so that you postpone the major problems.

If the car has received exceptional care over 110,000 miles, there's no particular reason why it won't continue to give a lot of service in the future. Just expect to have to spend money for regular maintenance and repairs. How many miles can a bmw roadster take before it drops dead? The last BMW I bought had 113,000 miles. I drove it for 5 years and sold it with 167,000. Five years later I still saw it driving around town. How many miles can a bmw roadster take before it drops dead? No, from owning a few beemers in the past I have gotten 200K+ before needing any pricey work done.
