I need to find ways to increase my torque, i have a 2003 BMW 325i. Besides the torque, is their any other way to increase the Acceleration of my car? If so please list a few things i can use and about how much all this is going to cost me. Thanks!!!!How can i increase the torque of my Bmw 325?here, as an M3 owner, let me help u out more than a 50k quote.

Torque is measured by how quickly the drivetrain components rotate at a certain rate of power. This means that rotational mass is key in the torque area of your car.

Horsepower is how much power is produced by the motor measured by certain units known as horsepower (duhh).

If you think about it logically, these two should be directly variable to eachother, and they are for the most part. But if you increase horsepower at the top end of the spectrum, you will increase torque only at the top end of the spectrum but not gain it at the low end of your spectrum meaning that you wont gain any torque or "power" down low. So the best (NOT THE ONLY WAY BUT THE BEST WAY) logical way to make torque (the drivetrain components rotate quicker) is to lighten up the drivetrain components which is everything sending power to your wheels.

So basically you just want to decrease rotational mass on the drivetrain to make these components rotate faster and increase torque. This includes lightweight flywheel, LTW driveshaft, halfshafte and thats about it.

WARNING: a lightweight flywheel and drive shaft will NOT make you able to beat corvettes in a straight line, It will NOT show a gain of torque on a DYNO, it will simply decrease rotational mass and let your engine rev quicker. This will increase your torque gains through true engine mods or exhaust modsHow can i increase the torque of my Bmw 325?
Spend $20 and try X-cross first to learn to push your car to the max. I doubt that you can even handle the horse power you already have. make sure you spend some time tracking you car before upgrading. many upgrade in the market actually can hurt the performance so you want to make sure that you know how to push your car to the max before playing around with the setting.

Everything in BMW is expensive. Cold intake system does not improve much unless you get the unit with some type of heat shield. Chip is useless unless your car is already heavely modified. Good super sprint exhaust system would give you some improvement. When you install the chip, your car would require premium gas. In my opinion, it isn't worth the money. The most bang for your buck is super charger. For M50 series of engine, this would run around $6000.How can i increase the torque of my Bmw 325?Papa is smoking crack and you're right, you'll might as well buy an M5 for the money.

I have 3 BMWs (a 325, a 328 convertible and an E46 M3) and i recommend you look into Jim Conforti air intakes and chips for your 325. For about $2,000 you can add LOTS of HP to your Bimmer.

I was really happy with the stuff I bought, under $500. First, I bought and installed a K%26amp;N intake on my car (1998 328is). this will add 9 hp at the redline. After that, I sent my ecu to the folks at Speed Tuning USA. They reflashed my chip for $225. Those two things pushed my car up 26 hp, and 25 ft lbs of torque, mostly in the low RPMs. If you were to add an aftermarket exhaust, expect to gain another 8 hp and 10 ft lbs of torque. That extra 26 hp and 25 lbs really made a noticeable difference in my car. Keep in mind, adding an air intake and exhaust only affect your car at the redline. With the chip, it'll affect your car in the low-mid RPMs as well.

And for acceleration, you could shed some weight in your car. If you wanted, you could remove the rear seats... Carbon fiber components, (hood, trunk), but that's kinda stretching it...
