Why does my 2001 330ci bmw air conditioner not stay on high or low after i got a in-dash screen installed?

I got a in-dash screen installed in my 2001 330ci bmw and now the a/c seems to have a mind of its own. i don't know if its the compressor or if its the unit it self. any ideas would be great.Why does my 2001 330ci bmw air conditioner not stay on high or low after i got a in-dash screen installed?Sounds to me like the install has affected your a/c system by blocking an in car temp sensor or they utilized important wires that are affecting your a/c system.
