I can tell you from experience, changing differentials is a million times easier with a lift, as opposed to a jack and jack stands!

What would be the best differential to put on my BMW?
I own a 1990 BMW 325i, with a worked-over M20 2.5L inline 6 putting out around 210hp/215 torque. i think the differential on it now is probably the 4.10 diff. I definitely want a tighter ratio for racing kind of stuff, maybe 3.91 or something, and i definitely want an LSD or locked one. Has anyone done this, or have suggestions as to what the best differential would be?What would be the best differential to put on my BMW?I would think that the e36 M3 differential would be your best bet. I would scour the forums because I'm sure this has probably been beaten to death by those modifying fanatics :)
