1) 2 years of free maintenance
2) $1,500 Credit
3) .9% financing
Thoughts? What special offer should I get for my CPO BMW?If you have a credit union see what their payments for the same length of time is. Many times that's cheaper than a dealer's financing regardless of the dealers % rate. Dealers add all kinds of fees that credit unions don't which jack up the total and lead to higher payments. If you can get better payments elsewhere then take the two years free maintenance IF it's bumper to bumper. There's no way a BMW will go two years with only $1500 worth of maintenance. They're the most expensive car in existence to maintain. What special offer should I get for my CPO BMW?You just need to do the math! It also depends on how much you drive and what was the last service done and if you have any remaining factory warranty left (which will cover all the maintenance even for the CPO owner).
The .9% financing and $1,500 credits are fixed amounts.
Say the car you are getting just had an inspection II and brakes changed and has 12 months left on the factory warranty and you drive 10,000 miles a year... in the next 3 years you will probably only need two oil service and an inspection I which shouldn't be more than $600 total out of pocket. In that case the $1500 would be better than the service.
But say the car you get has just had an oil service and the brakes are 50% and only 1 month is left on the original warranty... in the next 2 years you might need a brake change and a an inspection II which might be worth it...
Personally I would take the $1500 or the 0.9% (depending on which is actually more money in my pocket) and do the maintenance myself which is what I would have done anyways... but OTOH I would probably tell my mother to get the free maintenance. What special offer should I get for my CPO BMW?All depends on how much you are financing and whether or not you plan on buying the maintenence. it's impossible for anyone to properly answer this question with the info provided.
