How much would it cost (about) to fix a dent in the side of a BMW like this?

Or would it be possible to do it myself? And how?

Its on the driver side front fender of a 93 BMW 525

Make sure the wheel alignment was not messed up during the accident.. Try to check out some car lots if there are any that have the whole side panel for sale, you may be able to get it cheaper. How much would it cost (about) to fix a dent in the side of a BMW like this?I'll SWAG it at $2800 - 3200. Paint, prep, replacement fender, bumper, bumper brackets, maybe internal fender well straightening and HIGH priced labor hours at a body shop.

What did the body shop tell you?

A lot cheaper if you do it yourself. New fender and a quart of paint (hope you can color match) and spray. Not sure the condition of bumper, if the plastic is not torn maybe just straightening and paint. So maybe $450 or so.How much would it cost (about) to fix a dent in the side of a BMW like this?Ouch... it can be possible to fix, if you have the knowledge and experience to do that. The panel is basically wrinkled with the damage there, and might have even knocked the hood alignment off a little, have that checked if you can. Sadly a dealership will probably charge you in the range of 1200 to 1800 for that fender repair plus paint. A blowjoe shop can put cheap sheetmetal replacement and paint on there for 400 to 1000. Good luck.
