How can i become a BMW car dealer?

im currently a senior. and i wanted to get into the car dealership business asap. can u please tell me what are the steps i need to take in order to achieve my goal? what courses do i need to take? Please help me out. if not BMW then any dealership would be fine. Im a 17 year old, great personality, communicates well with people, and a very cheerful person. Thank you for ur help i appreciate it! :DHow can i become a BMW car dealer?Do you mean salesperson, "dealer" can mean a different thing. Like being an authorized BMW dealership. Anyone can sell BMWs, get your license to become a new/certified used car salesperson. It's a no brainer, fill out an app and take some simple salesperson training course.

Usually start out with a veteran salesperson to show you the ropes (no commission from helping you with a sale, then they try you out solo to see if you can sell. Selling cars is more than just being a good communicator and being cheerful with people. You HAVE to sell cars, that's your job period!

You're basically talking people into paying as much as they can possible afford for a vehicle to make money for yourself and the dealer.

For me, I rather get paid for repairing or detailing cars (yes it's harder work but honest). Some salesmen I've met are complete liars and will sell you a car knowing full well that it has problems that wont surface until you're off the lot or past limited warranty. Then there are the other salemen that are nice and thoughtful, but they'll never be a sales manager with that work ethic. Sure people will like them but they won't make much money.

Why dont you become a BMW DME/ECU computer tuner technician? A lot of training but big money. How can i become a BMW car dealer?I think you can also be their valets, when i went to the dealer I saw a ton of teenagers being their valets, but you can try applying on the dealer website, heard it's not really that hard. How can i become a BMW car dealer?BMW car dealerships are usually purchased. I would suggest that you finish school and go on to a university which offers an automotive engineering or business management curriculum. Then you can go to work for a dealership, learn the business, save your money, become a manager and buy into a dealership when it is offered for sale. There are many dealerships failing these days because of the serious economic situation around the world. If you have lots of sales ability, you might do better by becoming a sales manager who really is the prime mover of a dealership. Selling and repairing cars is the final answer and will require many years of experience.
